Savcon were engaged to assist with design, procurement and to erect Tasmania’s first timber high-rise building. The project used a mix of local and international manufacturers featuring 370m 3 of Spruce GLT from HESS (Germany), 938m 3 CLT from XLAM (Albury Wodonga, Victoria) and 109m3 hardwood CLT from CUSP (Wynyard, Tasmania).

The “speed of construction” was one of the builders’ biggest highlights, thanks in majority to the Savcon Mass Timber team.
