Savcon were responsible for much of the structural carpentry, the roof, the pavilion rainscreens, soffits and some landscape elements. Having the opportunity to work in such a beautiful location and contribute to the local Surf Club was remarkable. The kite shaped roof is designed to gently rise to maintain a low scale. Throughout the whole project we used Spotted Gum, a premium Australian Hardwood with natural durability and fire resistance.
